Exciting news in the world of Diamond Mountain! We are honored to be prominently featured in the cover article of February's issue of Rock and Gem Magazine!

Grab your copy to read more about New York's favorite quartz, the Herkimer diamond. In this issue, Larry and Deena were interviewed by the article’s author L.A. Sokolowski and asked to talk about the mine, the growing popularity of the digging hobby for couples, and the popularity of Herks in engagement and wedding rings!

To amp up the romantic theme, Deena’s photos of heart-shaped crystals are used throughout the article, and we are excited to have one of Diamond Mountain’s specimens featured as the “centerfold.” This special heart-shaped crystal has a barbell attached to the front—truly a unique one-of-a-kind from our mine.
