The Wilderness Dig Experience
Ready to find your own crystal treasures at Diamond Mountain? A Wilderness Dig is our basic mining package.
This guided digging experience is your exclusive chance to find extremely rare Herkimer diamond formations such as scepters and barbells, as well as other cool crystal forms like black diamonds, skeletal crystals, complex Herkimer clusters…and more! Even better: whatever crystal treasures you find are YOURS to keep! Spend the day digging through dirt and eroded rock ledge in our shaded forest dig sites—a true rockhound’s dream!
Digs for Groups
Diamond Mountain now welcomes groups of 10 or more and accredited mineral clubs to visit the mine for our educational dig experiences. Plan a visit that your group will never forget!
Minimum of 10 people per group
20 person maximum
Discounted rate of $50 per person (half price)
