Small Herkimer Diamond "Pay Dirt" (2lbs)
Diamond Mountain offers you a chance to “mine” for your own Herkimer diamonds at home with our bags of authentic mine-direct Pay Dirt! These bags replicate the sand and small micro crystals that are found inside of a genuine Herkimer diamond pocket. We hand-seed each bag with Herkimer gems so that you are guaranteed to get more than your money’s worth! You can expect to find micro-gems, black diamond points, and even bonus minerals like calcite or dolomite in bag!
Sifting for the gems in your pay dirt bag is a great hands-on activity for kids and grown-ups alike! We recommend using a wire screen with small holes to wash/sift your pay dirt bags because you will find “diamond sand,” (our tiniest Herkimers -flawless gems as small as a grain of sand!) in every bag!!
Our Small (approximately 2 lb) Bags are guaranteed to contain:
-A minimum of 5 grams of small clear Herkimer gems
